Welcome to The Ignite Games
If you're on this page, you’re one of the 10 athletes representing your gym in the Bay Area’s first-ever Gym vs Gym fitness championship.
Your job: show up ready, stay sharp, and give your gym every second you can.
Below is everything you need to know to prepare for June 27th.
June 27, 2026 - Saquoia Hall, San Mateo Expo Centre
EVENT FORMAT
(HOW YOU COMPETE)
You compete individually. Your gym competes as a team.
Each gym has 10 athletes:
5 Women
5 Men
You will complete each workout individually in a relay-style format:
Relay Flow
Woman #1 completes the workout
Woman #2 starts immediately
Woman #3 → Woman #4 → Woman #5
Man #1 begins immediately after the last woman
Man #2 → Man #3 → Man #4 → Man #5
Your gym earns one nonstop time for every event.
Fastest total time = highest points.
SCORING
Each event awards points based on finish position:
1st = 10 points
2nd = 9
3rd = 8
…
10th = 1 point
Four events total → 40 points max before the finals.
Top 5 gyms move on to the final team workout.
FINALS
If your gym makes the top 5 after the qualifiers, ALL 10 of you compete together in one massive head-to-head final.
The final is worth 25 points.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON EVENT DAY
You’ll get:
Athlete-only warmup area
Access to water/ hydration
Assigned heat times
Judges for every rep
Athlete check-in station
Athlete call zone before heats
Athlete briefing from the head judge
Bring:
Workout clothes
Clean indoor shoes
Towel
Water bottle
Extra shirt
ID for check-in
MOVEMENT STANDARDS
The following will be provided closer to the event:
Official movement videos
Standards and no-rep rules
Weights for each division
Workout briefing sheets
Your gym captain will receive all documents as well.
ATHLETE CODE OF CONDUCT
If your gym makes the top 5 after the qualifiers, ALL 10 of you compete together in one massive head-to-head final.
The final is worth 25 points.

Do I need my own equipment?
No — all equipment is supplied.
Do I need to register if my gym registered?
Yes. Every athlete must complete their own form & waiver.
What happens if an athlete gets injured?
Alternates can be used if your gym submitted them before the deadline.
Can my family watch?
Yes — spectator tickets are available online.
